FISHING REPORT

Ice Depth: 1"
Stopped by the lake last friday. Was frozen accross, but still pretty thin. I stepped off the pier at the west end and was able to crack it. Looked like an inch and a half maybe 2. That was before the warm up over the weekend. Btw, I also saw someone else had tried to walk out and fell through...We need a real cold stap to lock it up.

Drove by the lake this morning. Thick enough layer of ice for the geese and swans to walk and rest on. The village does have the thin ice warning signs up.

Thank you jimmyjoe. Chaw im sorry if you were offended. since i drove by the lake 20 mins before that post and there was 0 (ahem) 0 ice on the lake i highly doubt i caused any harm. We are jumping at the bit to get out but i still think we are 2 weeks out yet. stay safe and tight lines.

Really? He is obviously joking. If someone believes that report then they are dumb. Chill out and laugh.

It's dangerous to joke about having tip ups out and the water temp being over 80. Someone may read your post and think Crystal has safe ice, which it does not.

THERE IS NO SAFE ICE ON CRYSTAL

drove by CL today. West end had a small amount of ice around the edges... otherwise open. We need to wind to lay down a bit and things should go fast.
