Does anyone have a recent report for the access at Alder Creek? Is it flat enough to pull a good sized shack out for the weekend?

Thanks

Puckaway is still open for northern pike. Check the page in the regs for Green Lake county. The black fish symbol indicates fishing is open year round for everything except muskie, sturgeon, trout and paddlefish. Page 36.

You are correct, Pike is closed.

Norwegian Bay on Poygan has been a good spot lately. Fish are staging by the mouth feeding and getting ready for the run.

Pretty sure I am right but there isn't anywhere for Northern Pike fishing until May 3rd. correct? Also if I were to try river fishing for walleye what structure would I be looking for. Seems most people fish the lazy current on big flats near Fremont and New London. What about rocky shores, shallow eddies or deep holes? Thanks everyone!

Was out on Poygan Tuesday and Wednesday preparing for the Battle. Travel was good and even with a car, you should be fine as long as you go slow and pay attention to the drifts. Would recommend going off of Noffke's. They do a great job of maintaining roads and for a minimum $2 contribution, it is well worth it. Take the time everyone to stop in the shop, pay your fee and thank them for all they do. These guys are awesome!!! Good luck everyone and be safe.

Eric, I was about to ask the same thing. If anyone could let me know, too, that'd be great.

never been on poygan, just wondering what conditions the roads are in and if a front wheel drive car with good snow tires can drive them so I don't have to walk out from shore. thanks.
