I fished the river the last 3 mornings with Friday morning being the best. I caught 1 real nice perch, a few gills & 1 nice crappie. I also caught many catfish & bullheads. Saturday & Sunday were pretty much the same with mostly bullheads biting.

Saturday mid morning I left Fox Lake to fish in the river some. I caught 4 nice crappies. I went back fishing Saturday evening & caught 1 big gill & 7 crappies. Nice day of fishing. Went back Sunday morning after I fished Fox Lake again & I slipped along the river bank & put a nice gash in my right hand. That ended my fishing.

I fished the river some Friday evening, Saturday morning, & Sunday afternoon. Lets just say the river is full of crappies. Just find some slack water & you should be able to catch fish. As far as other fish besides crappies I only caught a few small gills & walleyes & 1 small perch. All fish caught with plastic or garden worms.

Just a quick question. Have they closed the gates on the dam yet?
